Registered Manager at Fairfield House


Debbie joined Fairfield as a support worker in February 2010 and went on to become registered manager of Oakfield House in July 2013 which has 2 placements. After some developments within the company, a position was opened for a larger role at Fairfield House, looking after 5 children. Debbie took on Registered Managers role for Fairfield House in December 2015.

Debbie has completed and gained a BA Honours Degree in Social Work, studying Children and Families, whereby she gained a lot of experience throughout her placements.

Debbie has completed numerous training courses since she began her role at Fairfield these include First Aid & Administration of Medication, Health & Safety, Risk Assessment, Safeguarding service users, Protection of vulnerable Adults, Epilepsy, Patient Handling, Moving and Handling, Team Teach, PEC's, Sign Language and Equality and Diversity training at Level 2 and Infection Control at Level 2. Debbie has completed the Diploma level 3 in management qualification with support from Fairfield. Debbie has completed her level 5 in leadership and children and young people diploma.

Debbie expresses having a personal feeling of satisfaction seeing the children in her care flourishing and meeting goals. In Debbie's time away from her professional role, she is what can be described as a 'home bird'. Debbie has a full house of family members on most days, enjoying a close knit connection and particularly enjoys time with her Grandchildren doing activities.
